Designing an academic poster requires thought and research and it can be daunting if you’ve not done it before. This ‘masterclass’ session will help you get started.  

  

We’ll look at the key principles of academic poster design including  

• Poster examples – you decide how good they are 

• Structure & layout – what goes where, ‘rule of 3’, fonts, colours   

• Content – images, references – what goes in & what stays out 

• Presentation – make a good impression 

• Tech – Artificial Intelligence, PowerPoint and Adobe
