Welfare Week - ARCH Teesside Training

Do you want to be part of the discussions which can help reduce the amount of serious violence in our area? Do you want to discuss how sexual violence and gender discrimination are linked and what the latest statistics say?

Sign up to one of the specialist led workshops with Arch Teesside to discuss these real and current topics whilst learning about what is going on in our area and its affects.

All sessions are 50 minutes long and have space for 40 students to attend.  Booking is essential.

Sessions available:

10:00: How can we help prevent sexual violence- Exploring ways in which we influence each other's attitudes and behaviours within in the school environment and outside. School is a mini version of society where cultural ideas and values are developed and spread where some people have more power than others and in exploration, they have the power to influence each other’s behaviour for the better.

11:00: Impact and support: Exploring the normalisation of sexual insults and the impact on people. Sharing support available to young people.

13:00: Gender- exploration of stereotypes, gendered norms and inequality, impact and scales and statistics.
