Critical appraisal (quantitative): an introduction
Are you a School of Health and Social Care student who would like more practice with critical appraisal?
This workshop will:
- provide a basic level introduction to appraising quantitative research papers
- use a model for appraising quantitative research (based on reliability, internal and external validity)
- give you the chance to practise the technique on a sample article
This workshop will only be of relevance if you have already attended a lecture on critical appraisal within the context of evidence based practice.
